Designing a new web site can take a lot of time, especially when there are so many possible layouts, color schemes, presentation styles, and content requirements. It can be helpful to break the process up into four manageable parts:

Part I: Planning
This is, perhaps, the most time consuming part of a site design. During this phase, it is essential to understand what the target audience of the site is as well as what sort of image you would like to convey. If you do not have a domain name yet, we would be more than happy to help with that process.

Page copy should be written and reviewed, and the design team will handle the arrangement of any technical requirements, such as databases or e-commerce applications.

Part II: Building and Reviewing
Using your existing color scheme or logos (or perhaps making new ones), your custom site is constructed by our team and reviewed by you several times during the process. Our developers will try and guide the design process, but you retain final control over the look and feel of your site.

Part III: Developing the Image
Congratulations on the completion of your new site! Now it is time to promote the site through search engines, marketing materials, and any other avenues that fit within your market. While we do not specialize in public relations or advertising, we do have partnerships with area firms who will be able to take your image to the next level, should that be desired.

Part IV: Updating and Maintenance
The most important part of any web site is to keep the content fresh and to re-evaluate the site every once in a while, making changes as necessary. All D. Christopher Designs sites are covered under the extended maintenance plan, offering unlimited copy updates on existing pages.
